What do you write in a blank birthday card?

Say one specific thing instead of a general wish. A memory from the past year, something you admire about them, or a plan to actually see each other beats three lines of well-wishing. Four or five lines is plenty and a blank card does not need to be filled to the edges. If the front of the card is a joke, let the inside be the sincere part, which is the pairing most people are hoping for.

What is letterpress printing?

Letterpress presses inked type and plates down into the paper, so the design sits a little below the surface and you can feel it under your thumb. It runs one color at a time on an antique press, which is why a letterpress card costs more than one run off a digital printer. The impression shows best on thick, soft paper. This card is letterpress printed in Raleigh, North Carolina.

What size is this card and does it come with an envelope?

It is A2, 4.25 by 5.5 inches, and a kraft envelope is included, so there is nothing else to pick up before you can give it. That size gives you a full blank panel inside, which is more room to write than the little square cards allow without being so large that four lines look lost on the page. The paper is 100% cotton and the inside is left blank.

Who makes this item?

Hallelu's private label is a collaboration with designers across the USA, and most of our clothing comes out of Los Angeles. We also carry Levi's, By Together, Promesa, Miou Muse, Dippin' Daisy's and Kimberly C. We're proud to support local and women-owned makers too, including jewelry by Sea Stamped and candles by Sweet Water Decor.

Can I cancel my order?

Once you've received your shipping confirmation, the order can't be cancelled. You can still exchange it by following our Exchanges Policy on the Shipping & Returns page.

Do you carry petite or plus sizes?

Most of our pieces come in small, medium and large, based on what our vendors make available. We stock XS and XL whenever we can. For measurements on a specific piece, have a look at our sizing guide.

Why isn't my discount code working?
