Is zinc alloy jewelry good quality?

For costume jewelry it is a sensible choice. Zinc is soft enough to take fine detail from a mold, so shapes like scallops and ridges come out sharp, and it is dense enough that a piece feels substantial in your hand rather than tinny. What it is not is a precious metal, so treat it that way: keep it dry, take it off before you shower, and it will last for years. This necklace is 100% zinc, which is how the clam shell links hold their shape.

How many necklaces can you layer at once?

Two or three is the practical limit before the chains start knotting around each other. Give each one a couple of inches of clear space, keep your metals consistent, and let only one piece carry real weight while the rest stay fine enough to read as texture. A wide link like this one is the piece to build around, so pair it with a thin chain hanging below it rather than with a second statement necklace.

How long is this necklace, and can you adjust it?

It is 16.5 inches, with a 3-inch extension that takes it out to 19.5. At 16.5 the clam shell links sit high and close under the throat, which is where the shaping on each one reads most clearly. Hooking the clasp at the far end of the extension drops that same row down onto the top of your chest, low enough to sit below a higher neckline instead of on top of it. One chain, two fairly different looks.

Hallelu's private label is a collaboration with designers across the USA, and most of our clothing comes out of Los Angeles. Once you've received your shipping confirmation, the order can't be cancelled. You can still exchange it by following our Exchanges Policy on the Shipping & Returns page.

Do you carry petite or plus sizes?

Most of our pieces come in small, medium and large, based on what our vendors make available. We stock XS and XL whenever we can. For measurements on a specific piece, have a look at our sizing guide.

Why isn't my discount code working?
