Where should you put perfume so it lasts longer?

On your pulse points, meaning the inside of your wrists, the sides of your neck, behind your ears and the inside of your elbows, where the skin stays warm and keeps lifting the scent through the day. Put it on right after you moisturize, because fragrance evaporates off dry skin much faster, and resist rubbing your wrists together, which crushes the top notes before you have had them. A roller makes all of that easier than a spray, since you are placing the oil exactly where you want it instead of misting it into the air and hoping.

Does an oil-based perfume last longer than a spray?

On the skin, generally yes. An alcohol spray flashes off quickly and throws the scent outward, so people notice it from across a room but it fades sooner, while an oil settles into your skin's own oils and releases slowly, staying put for hours but staying close to you. That is a trade rather than an upgrade, and if you want your perfume to announce itself as you walk past, a spray does that better. This is an oil formula in a roller, so expect it to read as something someone catches when they are near you.

What does Ibiza smell like?

Fruity and floral, opening on amber plum and black cherry, which is the part that hits first and reads sweet and a little dark rather than citrusy. Freesia and jasmine come up underneath as the fruit settles, so it turns softer and more floral instead of staying candy-sweet. What is left hours later is the base, cashmere and vanilla and soft musk, warm and quiet against the skin. If you already know you reach for a fruity floral over a fresh or green scent, this sits squarely in that lane.

Who makes this item?

Hallelu's private label is a collaboration with designers across the USA, and most of our clothing comes out of Los Angeles. We also carry Levi's, By Together, Promesa, Miou Muse, Dippin' Daisy's and Kimberly C. We're proud to support local and women-owned makers too, including jewelry by Sea Stamped and candles by Sweet Water Decor.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

You'll get a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order leaves us.

Can I cancel my order?

Once you've received your shipping confirmation, the order can't be cancelled. You can still exchange it by following our Exchanges Policy on the Shipping & Returns page.

Do you carry petite or plus sizes?

Most of our pieces come in small, medium and large, based on what our vendors make available. We stock XS and XL whenever we can. For measurements on a specific piece, have a look at our sizing guide.

Why isn't my discount code working?

A few things to check: codes can't be stacked, some items are excluded from further discounts (including pieces made by our local artists), and codes do expire. If it still won't apply, email info@shophallelu.com with the code and we'll take a look.
