Questions about this piece
What top do you wear with a maxi skirt?
Something that ends at a definite point. A maxi skirt is one long line from the waist down, so a top that stops at the waistband or just above it tells the eye where the skirt begins, while a top left hanging loose over the top of it blurs the two into a single column. Tucked in works, cropped works, fitted works. This skirt is cut close to the body rather than full, so a slightly looser top is fine here too, since there is no volume underneath for it to fight with.
Does mesh snag easily?
More easily than a solid knit, because there is far more exposed edge in it. Mesh is built from open loops, so a ring, a watch clasp or a rough nail finds a thread where a closed fabric would let it slide past. Take rings off before you pull it on, wash it inside a zipped mesh bag so it is not tumbling against hooks and zippers, and go by the care label for temperature. If a thread does pull, ease it back through with a needle rather than cutting it.
Is this skirt lined?
No, it is a single layer of printed mesh the whole way down. That changes how you plan it rather than ruling it out: whatever you wear underneath reads through the zebra as part of the look, so a slip or fitted shorts in a plain color is the usual answer, with the print sitting over the top. The mesh is 95% polyester with 5% spandex, and that 5% is the give that lets a body-skimming cut follow your shape instead of pulling across the hip.
