Questions about this piece
Should you size down in a boxy T-shirt?
Usually no. A boxy tee is cut straight and wide through the body on purpose, so sizing down does not make it fitted, it just makes it short, and a boxy cut already sits higher than a standard tee. Take your normal size and let the width do what it was drawn to do. Size down only if you want the hem to land above a high waistband. This one runs S to L.
How do you tuck in a boxy T-shirt?
Tuck a corner, not the whole thing. A boxy tee carries too much fabric at the hem to disappear into a waistband cleanly, so pushing all of it in leaves a ring of bulk around your middle. Push in only the front few inches, centered on the button or the zipper, and let the back and sides hang. The ribbed neckline on this one holds its line while you pull at the hem, so the top half stays where you left it.
What is this tee made of?
A soft knit: 49% polyester, 48% rayon and 3% spandex. The rayon is close to half of it, and that is what stops a boxy cut from standing away from you the way a stiff cotton tee does, because the fabric falls instead of holding a square. The 3% spandex is a small number doing real work at the ribbed round neck, which is why the neck pulls over your head and then settles flat again. Follow the garment care label.
