What does peplum mean on a jacket?
It means the jacket flares out below the waist instead of hanging straight down. The fabric is drawn in at the narrowest point and cut wider below it, so the shape nips in and then releases over the hip. That is why a peplum defines a waist on almost anyone, and why where that cinch sits matters more than the size you take. On this one the waist is gathered with elastic rather than a stitched seam, so it finds your waist instead of asking you to match a fixed one.
What goes with a brown leather jacket?
