Do 100% cotton jeans shrink?

Cotton denim does move, mostly in the first wash and mostly in the length. Heat is what causes it, so a hot wash or a tumble dry is where you lose an inch, while cool water and air drying keeps it closer to where it started. Most of what shrinks also relaxes back out over a few wearings. These are 100% cotton with no elastane in them, so they behave like traditional denim. Check the care label before that first wash.

What top goes with baggy jeans?

Something that shows where your waist is. Baggy jeans carry a lot of fabric from the hip down, and a loose top over them covers the one line that keeps the outfit from reading as a single block. A fitted tee, a bodysuit with a belt, or a button-down tucked at the front all do it. If you want a roomy top, pick one that ends at the waistband instead of below it. This pair is loose enough through the leg that it handles the volume for you.

Should I size down in these?

Size down one if you want them slimmer. The loose straight leg is drafted with room on purpose, so your usual waist gives you the full '90s shape and one size under gives you a trimmer version of the same cut. That is a real choice here rather than a fix for landing between numbers. If you would rather not have the volume at all, the Levi's 501 Straight-Leg we carry is the cut to look at instead. These run waist 24 through 28, in light denim or a medium wash.

Hallelu's private label is a collaboration with designers across the USA, and most of our clothing comes out of Los Angeles. Once you've received your shipping confirmation, the order can't be cancelled. You can still exchange it by following our Exchanges Policy on the Shipping & Returns page.

Do you carry petite or plus sizes?

Most of our pieces come in small, medium and large, based on what our vendors make available. We stock XS and XL whenever we can. For measurements on a specific piece, have a look at our sizing guide.

Why isn't my discount code working?
