Are hoop earrings heavy to wear all day?
That depends on the band, not on the size of the circle. A wide, solid hoop carries real metal and you feel it in the lobe by evening, while a slim band the width of a pencil lead weighs almost nothing however far around it goes. If you are comparing two pairs, look at how thick the metal is before you look at the diameter.
